Why we need the Kampala Buzzline
- Pollinator Peril; habitat loss and various threats endanger pollinators
- Vital Needs; bees and butterflies require suitable forage plants, flowers and sheltered resting sites in soil and vegetation and hedges to survive.
- Urban Biodiversity; Urban areas show higher bee diversity compared to rural areas.
- Shared Responsibility; local authorities, homeowners and residents hold key roles in safe guarding pollinators.
- Nature engagement; community gardening and physical activities connected to Nature have dual benefits in enhancing human well being and strengthens community bonds.
Pollinators face significant loss and threats , the Kampala Buzzline addresses this need by creating vital habitats for pollinators, contributing to the preservation of local Biodiversity.
